Goats
Snowcap (Cashmere black goat)
I am the littlest goat on the farm and have the prettiest cashmere. I belong to Eden and she and I are best buddies. I am very curious, love to jump over fences, eat mom’s roses, and make new friends.
Milo (Cashmere goat)
I am the biggest goat on the farm and my mom says I am the biggest bully because I will head butt everyone away from the hay. What can I say, I like hay! I also have the best beard and the biggest horns on the farm. I have been known to even head butt Elise (the Icelandic sheep) but she is the boss.
Cookie (Cashmere goat - light color)
I am always causing trouble and love to jump the fence because the bushes are always better on the other side! I don’t like to be around humans unless they have food. If you have treats I will push everyone else out of the way. I love to play with all the other goats and we often head butt each other for fun!
Reggie (Boer Goat) - Rescue
My boy, Lincoln, met me at the Loudoun County fair in 2021 and I loved him so much that I would wag my tail from him. I was sold at the auction and was going to become dinner, but my boy used all of his own money to buy me and bring me home. I love people and love having my ears scratched! I think I am a dog and love all the attention.
Baby (Angora goat) - Rescue
I am the only angora goat on the farm. My fiber is beautiful and it is called Mohair! Angora fiber comes from angora bunnies. I am very friendly and like being around my best friend Maggie. Oreo is my boyfriend and he can often be seen blowing me kisses.
Maggie (Pygora Goat) - Rescue
I am the oldest goat on the farm at about 13 years old! I definitely have arthritis but that doesn’t stop me. I love being around all the goats here on my new farm. Before it was just Baby and I and we were a bit lonely. I love hanging out with dogs and will be your best friend if you give me treats.
Oreo (Cashmere goat)
My mom says I walk like a drunk all the time! When I was a little goat I got an infection called Meningeal worm and it affected my nerves, so now I walk crooked all the time. My girl, Eden, has nursed me back to health twice in my life! I have spent so much time with my human family that I LOVE all humans! I will be your best friend even if you don’t have treats but I will like you even better if you have treats. I also love to have people scratch my ears. I am basically a dog with horns but for some reason my family won’t let me live inside the house.
We are currently raising money to build our quarantine pen and run in shed. We need to be able to have a separate space for our new rescue animals to live for several weeks as we assess their health before we introduce them to the rest of our herd. Please use the link above to make donations.
Coming soon we will have a link to our Etsy store where you can buy art and crafts made by our family that will support our farm!
